Meadow. What a fantastic aura Meadow displays as she plays in the snow. She has some of the most regal and sophisticated akita postures we have seen. Like her brother, Yukon - she is large and thick boned. Meadow never ceases to amaze us when she runs free up on our forested hill or in the hollers and meadows below. She is another one of our athletes of the group - leaping over downed trees, jumping over a bush here and there, and bolting through the woods at lighting speed. It is indeed a sight to see.

Meadow is one of our new younger Akitas who has impecable bloodlines in her pedegree.  Although she is young and just getting started in our breeding program - she portrays so muich of the regal qualites of an akita.  She is sweet and attentive however she is slow to accept new humans that walk onto the property.   Meadow looks into our souls when she greets us. She stares as she wags her tail. It sometimes seems like she is listening, but on a different, deeper level. Meadow is extremely affectionate with us and those she has come to know.  For those she does not know - she will stand away - constantly making eye contact with a new human.  Meadow is also slow to accept other dogs her size and shows a very alpha stance when she is confronted with canine strangers.

We expect great things from this girl and are THRILLED at how she has progressed from puppyhood to the sophisticated princess she has become!! We are so proud of her.

Meadow's first breeding will be this year 2011.
