Brik is our newest boy.  When he was a pup we called him our littler house boat puppy.  When he would lie down to take a nap - he would look like a thick brick there on the floor.  He was simply a big chunck of puppy.  To see him grow up and become this sophisticated and absolute regal adult Akita has been a joy to witness.  Brik Haus is quite a hansome fellah.  His is a sable fawn brindle - our first brindle for RH Akitas. His light amber eyes and dark mask create a very onimous looking Akita, to say the least!  In certain lighting - his face may look quite intimidating with glowing like eyes and all.  He has stopped a few folks instilling fear in them just by his stare! lol   He is stunning and a brilliant boy.  He is quite affection with his humans and is training well.  His intelligence is amazing.  He is yet another akita we have here at RH AKITAS that reads his humans by looking deep into your eyes as if looking into your soul.   If feels as if Brik has a way of hearing our thoughts - feeling our emotions by his reaction to us.  If we're having an off day and stressed - he'll slowly walk towards us  his head bowed in respect and he sits right in front of us and leans his head against a leg.   He'll look up at us making eye contact and will slowly begin wagging his tail, tilting his head from side to side to get us to smile.  Brik is our healer.  He heals us from a down day making us smile and putting us back in a good space.  Of course - this may sound nuts for some - but the 'magic' of the akita has never suprised us. Brik has a few more months before we will use him to sire a litter of pups.  In the meantime - we continue to learn more about him and watch him grow into an epic male Akita.  Soon we'll be announcing a litter sired by our boy, Brik Haus of Rodriguez Hill.
