Boomer's personality just never ceases to impress us and our friends/visitors. She is an extremely happy Akita who weighs 95.5 pounds. Her demeanor is that of a lab yet on the outside she is the pure premium Akita. Her head is larger and wider than most females who sometimes have a smaller head than say the average male. She is thick and a heavy boned girl. Her stance is excellent and her conformation superb. Boomer loves her exercise which includes a full loose run on our 30 acres. Nothing is more majestic than to witness an Akita in full gear running like a gazelle. It's simply awesome. Her winter coat is dominantly black with a dark fawn undercoat.

Her parents are stunning and from the North Michigan area. The Sire weighs 130 and the Dam is almost as large weighing 115! Boomer is not this large however, from a genetic perspective - her genes matched with a sire with the same size factor gene - are sure to produce magnificent pups - large and thick.
