Bianca of Rodriguez Hill

We introduce our newest member of the pack here at Rodriguez Hill Akitas - BIANCA! (Bee, for short :)
Bianca is the offspring of King Kori and Boomer!
Bianca has become the clown of the group, always making us laugh when we're with her or even when she's clear on the other
side of the property. Two aspects of her character amuse us - her 'call' and her inherent instinct to resemble a kangaroo
when she is let loose to run the property or even when she's on leash! The words "Boing Boing Boing" come to mind ! This joyous gem of an Akita
posseses such wonderful spirit about her, she can't help but show how brilliant life is for her. One cannot help but just smile and feel Bianca's spirit.
Her "call" is out of this world. Think of a sound a female "Chubaka" (from Star Wars) would make - that is what we hear echoing through the
forest as she announces her demand for our attention during feeding or when we arrive from a day of being away from the pack. We are always greeted with her comical song as she beckons our attention, for her food rations for the day, a treat, or simply her desire be with us.
Bianca is a kind and docile akita with those she knows and even with new people. However, Bianca - like our Sadie - has a keen sense of 'keeping the watch' here at RH Akitas. Any different noise around the property , day or night, places Bianca in a state of alert. It's amazing to hear the difference
in her "give me attention" bark and the bark she uses as she keeps watch, the latter being more grizzly in nature. Nothing or nobody dares approach!
Bianca was raised around horses, goats and other farm animals. She is cat friendly but does not tolerate other female akitas, which is a common
characteristic for this breed. Give her another breed to co-habitate with - she does great! But no akitas.
Seems she likes to be the only one to outshine the rest!
Our wonderful girl, Bianca is quite stately and regal looking. She has great conformation. She is true black with silver hues here and there.
She has a wider than average head for a female akita and is on the larger side. Thick boned and agile - this girl stands to produce some of the finest
pups as she enters our breeding program the winter of 2012! She will be bred with our magnificent boy, Brik of Rodriguez Hill.
